Content Accuracy & Currency

Content is reviewed periodically but may not reflect the most current guidelines at all times. Clinical guidelines evolve – users must cross-reference with their service's current authorised protocols.

  • Drug information is based on Australian references current at time of publication. Always verify against the current Australian Medicines Handbook (AMH), Therapeutic Guidelines, or MIMS before administration.
  • Content errors can be reported via and will be reviewed by a registered clinician.
  • Clinical correction requests are treated as highest priority and reviewed within 72 hours of receipt.

Scope of Practice

FIFO EMS content spans multiple scopes of practice including paramedic, Intensive Care Paramedic (ICP), Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), physiotherapist, occupational health clinician, and Emergency Service Officer (ESO).

  • Users are responsible for identifying and applying only content within their own registered scope of practice.
  • FIFO EMS does not personalise clinical content to individual registration levels beyond the role-filter system provided within the application.
  • Practise within your AHPRA registration, your employer's scope definition, and your service's authorised clinical guidelines at all times.

Regulatory & Legal Notice

FIFO EMS is not a registered medical device under the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 (Cth). It is classified as a general wellness and clinical reference application and does not require TGA listing.

Privacy Policy

FIFO EMS does not collect, transmit, or store any personal or patient data.

  • All content is stored locally on the user's device. No account, login, or network connection is required to use the application.
  • Usage analytics: none collected. No telemetry or behavioural data is gathered.
  • No third-party SDKs that collect personal data are included in this application.
  • Feedback submitted via the in-app feedback form is sent via the device's native Mail app directly to . No data passes through FIFO EMS servers at any point in this process.
